The Supply Model gives ways to treat orders according the order type for instance (can be customer, address...)
It's set on MMS056 but first the object of the supply model name has to be created in CMS017.
CMS017 : Généric Object Control Table
=> create a value for the supply Model
=> in E page, add the key field(s) (for instance OAORTP = the Customer Order Type)
Then :
MMS056 : Supply Models
=> Set the supply model just created
MMS059 : Supply Model Lines
=> Set the actions of the Supply Model. If there is several actions to do one after the other, set different alternatives. If there is the same action to do for several CO type, set same alternative, different Co type.
Creating the line, enter Quantity = 1 to reach the Details where you can choose the parameters.
Supply Model can be made to :
- check on a specific location and do a transfert from a place to another automatically
- check if qty requested > qty in stock and place a purchase order automatically to the supplier
- per customer who doesn't want partial delivery
...
Once it's set up in MMS056, the setting of the Supply Model has to be changed in all the CO type concerned
OIS010 : Order Types
=> On each order type, add the supply model created
OIS014 : Order Type fields Selection
=> On each order type, add *SYS as supply model so M3 can chose the supply model according 1/Address 2/Customer 3/Order Type
This setting allows to set a specific supply model in address if an address can't be partially delivered (or a specific customer)
Otherwise, it could be force and set with the Supply model created
